The course was founded in 1956 to accommodate those not welcome at other courses in Gauteng. In the early days Kyalami was truly out in the country. However as urban Joburg has expanded and edged closer, the course has elevated itself to sit comfortably in the Top-30 courses in South Africa and Top-10 for conditioning in Gauteng, Maintained by Golf Data, you're bound to find Kyalami in superb condition all year round.
